Action Rules
Rules for mugging, raiding, kidnapping, and other hostile RP
Action Rules
Hostile RP runs through the Interactions menu. Hold G.
How It Works
Open the Interactions menu → Select action → Pick target → Server handles the rest. No adverts needed.
The Core Principle
Hostile RP should create interesting scenarios, not farm money or grief people.
Targeting the same person over and over, camping their base, using the menu to harass. You're the problem.
Who Can Do What
The menu won't offer you what you can't do.
| Action | Who |
|---|---|
| Warn someone to leave | Anyone |
| Mug, Raid, Counter, Bank Raid, PD Raid | Criminals and gangsters |
| Kidnap | Kidnapper only |
| Terror | Terrorist only |
| Everything except warning | Never government jobs |
Warning rules are in Combat Rules.
Who Is Off Limits
| Protection | Detail |
|---|---|
| New players | Cannot be raided at all for their first 3 hours of playtime |
| Hobos | Cannot be raided, mugged or kidnapped. They own nothing worth taking |
| Too poor to mug | Target needs £250,000 across wallet and bank |
| Too poor to kidnap | Target needs £150,000 across wallet and bank |
| Recently raided | A base gets 15 minutes of protection after a raid |
If the menu refuses your target, one of these is why.
Mugging
Rob someone through threat of force.
How It Works
- Look at your target and open Interactions menu (G) → Mug
- Server announces the mug and starts a timer
- Victim has 15 seconds to type
/acceptor fight back
Limits
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Amount | £1,000 to £50,000 |
| Compliance timer | 15 seconds |
| Kill window after it expires | 10 seconds |
| Cooldown before you mug again | 5 minutes |
| Cooldown before the same person can be mugged | 10 minutes |
| Range | Close. You have to be next to them |
10 seconds, not forever. Kill them two minutes later and it's RDM.
Victim Options
| Option | When It Works |
|---|---|
| Pay | Drop the money, survive, they leave |
| Fight | You have a weapon ready? Fight back |
| Run | Clear escape route? Take your chances |
No FearRP for mugs. Victims can always choose to fight back, even unarmed. It's their funeral.
Kidnapping
Take someone hostage for ransom.
How It Works
- Open Interactions menu (G) → Kidnap → Select target
- Restrain them and transport to your base
- Negotiate ransom (server tracks time limit)
- Release when paid, or when time runs out
Limits
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Ransom | £5,000 to £100,000 |
| Maximum hold time | 10 minutes |
| Cooldown before you kidnap again | 10 minutes |
| Cooldown before the same person can be kidnapped | 30 minutes |
The Rules
| Rule | Details |
|---|---|
| Holding location | Must be a real base, not a prop box mid-road |
| Ransom paid? | You must release them. Breaking deals is FailRP |
| Time runs out? | Release them. No "oops forgot" executions |
Kidnapping is for ransom RP, not torture RP. Don't be weird.
Raiding
Assault a base to steal valuables.
How It Works
- Open Interactions menu (G) → Raid → Select target (a player with a base)
- Server announces the raid, and you have 30 seconds to start lockpicking
- Once you crack the first door, raid timer begins (15 minutes max)
- Steal what you can, then end the raid through the menu
Limits
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Time to start lockpicking after declaring | 30 seconds, or the claim lapses |
| Maximum raid length | 15 minutes (you get a warning at 30 seconds left) |
| Cooldown before you raid anyone again | 5 minutes |
| Cooldown before the same base can be raided | 30 minutes |
| Protection the victim's other property gets | 15 minutes |
What Counts As Raiding
Any interaction with what's inside someone's base is a raid.
Touching their stuff means you're raiding. Declare it first.
| Action | Raid? |
|---|---|
| Lockpicking or keypad cracking a door | ✅ |
| Destroying their cameras or scanners | ✅ |
| Tripping their scanners deliberately | ✅ |
| Blowing a door off its hinges | ✅ |
| Taking or damaging anything inside | ✅ |
| Walking past their base | ❌ |
| Standing outside looking at it | ❌ |
Breaking someone's cameras "for fun" is an undeclared raid.
Raider Rules
You raid to steal, not to grief.
| Rule | Why |
|---|---|
| Don't modify their base | No prop blocking yourself in, no destroying their props |
| Don't camp after looting | Got the loot? End the raid and leave |
| Start from the entrance | No "insiding": raids begin at the front door |
Insiding = Getting invited in or being inside already, then starting a raid. Raids must start from the entrance, period.
Empty Bases
You won't be punished for raiding a base and finding it empty. You can't know until you're in.
Once you know, leave. Sitting in an empty base running down the timer is griefing.
Defending
Defend your base, don't spite the raiders.
When your base gets raided, you have one job: fight back.
Being raided puts you in combat state: no building, no props, no job changes. Every hit you land or take resets a 20 second timer, so it lifts 20 seconds after the shooting stops. Disconnect mid-raid and you drop a cut of your money for the raiders.
Don't destroy your own valuables to spite a raider. Blowing up your own printers so nobody else gets them is FailRP.
Counter-Raiding
Help defend someone else's base during a raid.
How It Works
- Open Interactions menu (G) → Counter → Select the raid
- You have 15 seconds to engage raiders
- You're there to defend, not loot
There's a 1 minute cooldown between counters.
The Rule
You counter to help, not to steal.
Criminals and gangsters can counter-raid. You're a defender, so you can't take anything from the base.
Stealing & Carjacking
Unattended stuff is fair game.
- Parked car with no one around? Just take it
- Someone's car they just stepped out of? That's carjacking, and you can KOS them if they resist
- Item on the ground? Finders keepers
You can kill someone who steals from you. Don't bait people by dropping stuff and waiting.
Terror Attacks
Terrorist job only.
| Rule | Value |
|---|---|
| Attack duration | 2 minutes |
| Minimum players online | 6 |
| Cooldown | 1 hour, server-wide |
The cooldown is server-wide. One terrorist using it locks it for everyone, so don't burn it on an empty street.
Two minutes of chaos somewhere busy. Not a free kill on one person you dislike.
Bank & PD Raids
Large-scale raids need a full server and have their own cooldowns.
| Rule | Bank Raid | PD Raid |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum players online | 8 | 8 |
| Duration | 10 minutes | 10 minutes |
| Cooldown | 30 minutes | 30 minutes |
Both start at the building itself, and you can only run one at a time. Police respond with lethal force.
PD raids need a reason: freeing a friend, a hit on the Mayor, an actual grievance.
"For fun" or "bored" are not valid reasons to raid PD. Raiding PD because cops exist is FailRP.
Getting Out Of Jail
A prisoner can pay to walk. The price is a £25,000 base fee, plus £500 per second of sentence still to serve, plus £25,000 per wanted star the arrest was made on, capped at £400,000.
A clean pickup is about £85,000. A five-star arrest hits the cap.
Arrests, warrants, searches, laws and lockdowns are all in Government Rules.
Every Cooldown In One Place
The server enforces all of these and tells you how long to wait.
| Action | You again | Same target | Server-wide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mug | 5 min | 10 min | n/a |
| Kidnap | 10 min | 30 min | n/a |
| Raid | 5 min | 30 min (same base) | n/a |
| Counter | 1 min | n/a | n/a |
| Terror | n/a | n/a | 1 hour |
| Bank Raid | n/a | n/a | 30 min |
| PD Raid | n/a | n/a | 30 min |
A raided owner also gets 15 minutes of protection on any other base they own.
