Remover Tool Guide

Complete guide to the Remover tool in Garry's Mod - delete props, contraptions, and constraints

Remover Tool

The Remover tool deletes props, entire contraptions, and constraints. Essential for cleanup and fixing mistakes.

Basic Controls

ActionWhat It Does
Left-clickRemove single prop
Right-clickRemove prop + all connected/constrained props
Reload (R)Remove constraints only (keep prop)

Removal Modes

Single Prop (Left-click)

Deletes only the prop you click. Connected props stay.

Contraption (Right-click)

Removes the clicked prop AND everything constrained to it:

  • Welded props
  • Roped props
  • Axis/ballsocket connected props
  • Parented props

Be Careful

Right-click can delete much more than expected if things are heavily constrained together.

Constraints Only (Reload)

Removes all constraints attached to the prop but keeps the prop itself:

  • Welds
  • Ropes
  • Axes
  • Ballsockets
  • NoCollides

Useful for freeing a welded prop without deleting it.
