Running a meth lab is a profitable criminal production job. You'll combine ingredients, filter the mixture, freeze it into product, and sell to the buyer NPC through a drop-off system.

The Cooking Process
Setting Up Your Lab
Place your machines — Set down the Combiner and Freezer with enough space for trays to eject
Buy ingredients — Get Methylamine and Aluminum from the F4 menu
Buy a filter — You'll need this before the filtering phase starts
The filter doesn't need to be attached right away — you'll add it after the ingredients are loaded.
The Filter
The filter is not optional — it's critical to your operation:

Filters have limited health and wear out over time. Replace them when they break.
VIP Benefits
Higher ranks earn more per gram of meth sold:

The gameplay loop is identical for all ranks — VIPs just earn more per sale.
Tips for Success
Half your product is wasted without one, plus you take damage. Never skip the filter.
The machine gets dirty and slows down production. Clean it between batches.
Trays eject onto the floor. Make sure you have room to work around your machines.
You have limited time to reach the drop-off point. Know the map and have an escape route.
You'll be wanted after selling. Police know where meth labs are. Build defenses.
The filter must be attached AFTER ingredients but BEFORE the filtering phase starts. Miss the window and you lose 50% yield.
Common Problems
Cause: No filter attached.
Solution: Buy and attach a filter immediately.
Cause: No filter = 50% yield loss.
Solution: Always attach a filter before cooking.
Answer: Find the Meth Buyer NPC or use The Broker.
Most servers have a dedicated Meth Buyer NPC — look around spawn or the industrial areas. On Justified servers, use The Broker NPC which handles all drug sales.
Cause: Drop-offs expire after a time limit.
Solution: Get there faster next time. There's a cooldown before you can request another.
Cause: Selling meth makes you wanted. Police get notified.
Solution: Build in a less obvious location. Have escape routes planned.
Quick Tips
- Filter is mandatory — 50% yield loss without it, plus poison damage
- Ice breaking — Press E multiple times on frozen trays to break them
- Drop-off system — Absorb crates, get waypoint from NPC, deliver to location
- Selling makes you wanted — Be prepared for police attention
- Equipment limits — You can only own 1 combiner and 1 freezer at a time
- Clean your gear — Dirty equipment slows production
